The way this year is flying by, Christmas will be here before you can blink. Scary, but true, and I’m already starting to see those hideous junk-filled ‘Festive Season’ catalogues appearing in newspapers, so I’m guessing the corny decorations and tinny mall carols will be upon us sooner rather than later.
Do yourself a favour: start your gift shopping NOW. And don’t do it at a mall – do it at a market or a fair, where the gifts you’ll find are made by hand by creative, innovative people and not produced en masse in China/Taiwan/Vietnam.
There are so many Christmas Gift Fairs on offer this year that there really is no excuse!
One of the earlier ones is the Constantia Gift Fair, which has just kicked off its 5-day run at SARDA (South African Riding for Disabled Association).
