Beloved Beadwork is an exciting new company producing high quality beadworked jewellery, using fine quality Japanese glass and complex techniques.
Beloved Beadwork will make you rethink what it is possible to create with beads. Our work is at times reminiscent of ocean floors, with flowing ribbons of bright colour in carefully crafted cuffs. Other pieces are intensely structural, with strong metalics giving the look of beaten metal.
Lacey flowers turned into necklaces and bracelets give a romantic feel, and beaded Africa rings evoke a sense of pride.
Beloved Beadwork is made by and for beautiful, strong, forthright women. Our workplace ethics are as important to us as the quality of our goods. Located in one of the most economically and socially divided cities on earth, Cape Town, Beloved Beadwork strives to be a workplace and a brand which enables people to meet across the lines which divide us, to find common ground, mutual respect, dignity and visual beauty together.
Beloved Beadwork will officially launch on Saturday May 16th at 10am, with a party and exhibition at our premises at Montebello Design Centre, 31 Newlands Avenue in Cape Town.
In addition to the opportunity to meet the beadworkers and designer behind the work, guests will have the opportunity to see and buy our art, to make wholesale orders, and to pick up promotional literature and catalogues.
