Every year selected Franschhoek gardens are opened up to the public for a weekend.  And this year (24&25 October), there will be talks as well!

Visit 10 of Franschhoek’s most spectacular gardens as they burst into bloom this summer.

This year we are proud to launch our Franschhoek Open Gardens Talks featuring well known Gardening Celeb Keith Kirsten and local speakers Bridget Kitley (herb expert) and Marie Fazard – Ludwig’s Roses. (Stellenbosch Branch Manager)

6 Hennie de Necker 17 L’ Avenue de Franschhoek, Bagatelle Road, Franschhoek A formal town garden full of colour and interesting plantings; it is hard to believe the garden is only one year old. Age of garden: 1 year

7 Fay Bentley 31 Uitkyk Street, Franschhoek A jewel of a small garden; an example of mixed plantings complimenting each other. Age of garden: 6 years
