Every month, rain or shine, the lovely Nitida Wine Estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley hosts the Nitida Degustazione – a farmers’ market where, unlike at trendier town-based events, muddy gum boots are not an unusual sight.
I really like that – the real country feel. And, now that winter has most definitely descended upon us, the good news is that the normally rather early start of 7.30am (yikes) has been shifted to a more seasonal 8.30am.
So, from this coming Saturday (30 May 2009) until the seasons turn again, we can all sleep in a little longer, and visit the market a little bit later.
Join us for Italian delicacies, homemade pies, home roasted coffee accompanied by a slice of decadent chocolate cake & many more from 40 different suppliers.
Bring your family & friends & don’t forget those baskets!
Hmmmm… there’s something so appealing about warm homemade treats when it’s cold and miserable outside. Definitely on my list of this weekend’s want-to-dos.
