Well, it’s once again time for my favourite craft market – the Constantia Country Living Market.
It’s not the biggest market there is (I don’t think it’s getting enough support from the community), but I enjoy going every single time because of the quality of the goods you can find there.
Also on this weekend is a new festival for wine and food fundis: the Cape Town City Harvest Festival.
Wine-making, wine-tasting, live entertainment, celebrity chefs and more – all at Mandela Rhodes Place (corner of Wale St and St George’s Mall).
Sounds like fun, but I’m saving all my energy (and money) for the Cheese Festival, coming up next weekend, so I don’t think I’ll be checking that one out this time around. Maybe next year!
The Constantia Country Living Craft Market will be held between 9am and 2pm this Saturday (21 April) at the Cape Academy (Old Constantia School for Boys) in Firgrove Way, Tokai (off Spaanschemat River Road). For more info contact Jen on 021 712 2124.
The Cape Town City Harvest Festival will be held on Friday 20 April (12 noon to 10pm) and Saturday 21 April (9am to 6pm) at Mandela Rhodes Place (corner of Wale St and St George’s Mall). For more info contact Rainbow at 021 422 1418.
