It’s almost time for the Rondebosch Potters’ Market! One of my absolute favourites on the Cape Town market calendar, this popular ceramics market is held twice a year (March and November) at Rondebosch Park. It’s absolutely perfect for finding Christmas and other gifts – and there are always some sweet bargains to be found if you’re on a budget.
Organised by Ceramics SA, a non-profit organisation working hard to promote ceramic talent in South Africa, The Rondebosch Potters Market has been going for over 40 years – giving potters from around the Western Cape to gather together and display their creations.
This time, the market takes place on Saturday the 17th of November 2012, officially starting at 8am. It’s very well attended, so be sure to get there as early as you can. A small selection of food stalls will also be in place, so you won’t go hungry.
See you there!
