Robertson Wine Valley (Ashton, Bonnievale, Mcgregor, Montagu & Robertson)

An entire weekend of wine-tasting and related festivities in the Robertson Valley.

Find accommodation (if there’s any left) and explore the various towns according to your own unique game plan.

The festival is this year applying a no tolerance policy to drinking and driving, so appoint a designated driver (they don’t pay the passport fee and get a special wristband so they can’t cheat) or book tickets on the buddy bus that shuttles folk around the festival.

All visitors, apart from our registered* Designated Drivers, need to purchase a passport (R60) at their first port of call. This includes a stylish tasting glass, WWW goodie bag, festival program and a bottle of water.

How does the passport work?
The passport entitles you to free tasting (25ml-samples) of our wines for the duration of the festival. However, it is not a ticket to unlimited drinking and should you like more of a particular wine, you’re welcome to either buy a glass, or share a bottle amongst friends.

Other activities offered work on a pay-as-you-go basis with some activities free of charge.

* Only drivers who register at the dedicated spots and still have their DD-wristband intact are exempt from purchasing a passport
