Had enough of the rain yet? Well, it’s good for the farmers, so I’m not really complaining, but I certainly am looking forward to a few days of sunshine, even if it doesn’t exactly hot up too much.
There’s not too much on the radar for this weekend, but plenty for the next two weeks to come. Here are my top picks from the Mother City Living what’s on calendar.
As our friendly weather forecasters seem programmed to say… “Have a good one!”

And now for something completely different… Ever been to an antiques fair? I might just go for the sheer novelty of it. A variety of items — including jewellery, glass, ceramics, silver, toys, books, and paintings — will be on sale.

On Sunday evenings between May and October, Kirstenbosch hosts an indoor winter version of their popular concerts at the Silvertree Restaurant. This Sunday’s performer is talented vocalist and songwriter, Claire Phillips.
Cosying up to a roaring fire and listening to great music sounds pretty good to me. The R100 ticket price will get you a welcome drink and a starter (go early to score a fireside seat).
